Day 11 (June 18): Sifnos Island, Greece

Today was a somewhat relaxing day — at least in terms of our not totally exhausting ourselves playing on the Islands as we have done for the past several days. Sifnos is a much smaller island with far fewer people. We visited two tiny villages on the island: Platys Gialos and Kamares. On Playts Gialos we went for a long and very pleasant bike ride up to the top of the island where there was an old church (of course) and a fabulous view. Back on board, Kory went wake boarding again and then we went over to Kamares, the ship’s second stop on Sifnos island. Kory and I had drinks at a cute little outdoor cafe that was right on the beach. Back on board, we celebrated our last night on the ship with a fantastic dinner and then a few too many drinks. 😉 Overall, the cruise was awesome and exceeded my expectations. The food was phenomenally good and I’ve never had more impeccable service.
