We have been back in the States for just over two weeks now.  Our trip is behind us, but the memories will be forever ours.  Looking back on the trip, it is clear to me that far and away the most memorable and precious part of my vacation was just spending time with my fiance on an amazing adventure and in a fascinating place.  I spent 37 straight days with Kory and each day I woke up loving him more than I did the day before.  I am so grateful that I had these 37 days to explore the world with the love of my life.  A lesson for me going forward is that once in awhile I need to take a break from the “real” world and escape with my lover to reconnect with him and to fall in love all over again.  Yes, it’s expensive and, yes, maybe it’s a little irrational (especially, in this economy).  But, life is short and it is so worth it!
